Killswitch

Robin paces back and forth staring at the clock. “Tommy said that he would be here at 11:30. I should know better than to expect him to be punctual.” she thinks to herself. After pacing back and forth some more she jumps into the air and slams herself onto the couch. She pulls her phone out of her pocket and opens youtube. “No better time than now to research my opponents this week.” She types Latoya Hixx into the search bar and clicks on the first result. Clips begin to play of her match with Bellatrix. “Boring.. Slow… Stiff..” Robin chuckles to herself. “Let's look at the other one.” She now searches for Alessia Capella tapping the back of her phone rhythmically as she waits for the results to load. “Let's hope this one shows more promise.” The only results she gets are thumbnails of a bloody Ichunko. She taps on the top video and begins to grin as she watches Alessia slam Ichunko through the table backstage. “This ones feisty. Looks like i'm gonna need all hands on deck for this one.Hehe” She taps on her leg and sits up on the couch proud of her joke and completely fine that she was the only person around to hear it. She had been on her own for weeks now that her prosthetic was no longer causing her issues. Tommy has been off in Connecticut after being cleared of all charges for the events in Verona. Shawn was off dealing with his own legal issues after his ex girlfriend Renee had him committed for talking about magic and werewolves and a strange mirror that not only showed him things in his dreams but could force him into an astral projection at a moments notice. Renee seemed nice enough when Robin met her the first time but there was nothing she could have done for Shawn. His claims sounded insane but Robin had now known there was more than meets the eye to both Shawn and Tommy and Romeo Management for months.

There is a loud rumbling outside and Robin jumps to her feet rushing to the french doors leading to the courtyard of the house Tommy put her up in until she had been cleared to return to the ring. The First Class Booking team had called her and given her the all clear last week but today was the day she would start over. Today was the day she decided her losing streak was coming to an end. She opens the french doors and steps into the courtyard only to be hit with a blast of air and dust as a helicopter lowers itself to the ground in the middle of the yard. Moments later Shawn steps out of the helicopter and walks towards her.

“Shawn! Your back!” Robin shouts over the noise of the helicopter as she runs towards him and throws her arms around his neck.

A few steps behind him was Tommy. His hand wrapped in gauze. “What happened to you?” Robin asks him from over Shawns shoulder.

“Don't worry about me. He replies,”Get your things, there's no time to waste. Even when the helicopter is yours to use, the pilot still costs money.”

“Where are we going?” She asks with a puzzled look on her face.

“You're going to First Class with Shawn. I will be dealing with something important here before I return to New England.” Tommy responds as Shawn guides Robin back into the house she looks back at Tommy as he walks towards the locked basement of the house removing a key from his pocket and using it to unlock the door and enter the basement.

“Grab your things quickly Robin. Have you ever been on a helicopter before it's going to drop us off right on the deck of the Aircraft carrier.”

“I wonder if they thought about any of the talent getting seasick.” She grins at Shawn as she picks up her duffle bag and the two head back out the door.

Shawn and Robin climb into the helicopter and the propeller blades begin to whir faster and faster till the helicopter lifts up off the ground and flys off.
